An arrest has been made following a report that two teenage girls were sexually assaulted in Tutshill near Chepstow yesterday (Friday 22 May).
We were called at around 8.50pm with a report that an unknown man who falsely claimed to be a police officer had sexually touched two teenage girls without their consent whilst at Tutshill Recreation Ground earlier in the day.
Following enquiries by officers, a 22-year-old white man from the local area was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a female. He remains in police custody at this time and is due to be questioned by officers.
